How to be a Salesman if you are not a Salesman

If you need money to help your family you can do a lot of things. Even becoming a salesman. I believe this to be true.

I am not a talkative person. I am afraid of people. But because I want to help increase our income I am going to try to sell over the phone. Selling over the phone can be done at home. You can start without a big investment. All you need is a phone and a quiet place to make your calls. I found a lot of sales jobs on Craigslist. They look legitimate but I will check them out.

I have checked out several different sales opportunities. Each one is a little different. The ones I am looking at right now have a script that you follow. You read over the script until you are comfortable with it. You don't have to memorize it but know it very well. After you have learned the script you start making calls. The information that the company sends you states that you will probably get one or two sales a day. That is with calling at least four hours a day. You call and call and call. You need to be able to take rejection. You will get a lot of no's before you get a yes.
